Mr. O'Keefe specializes in criminal and traffic-related matters. He has practiced nearly a decade as a criminal defense attorney and appeared in most county and city courts in Denver. He has tried almost 60 jury trials ¬mostly for felony charges - including involuntary manslaughter, attempted murder, sexual assault, and burglary. He has plenty of experience in handling high-profile cases. His recent trial successes include obtaining acquittals of the following: eight charges against a juvenile charged With taking part in a massive train derailment in Westminster, CO in June 2008; and six charges - including two first-degree burglary charges - against a woman in Jefferson County, CO.
