Summer Program
The best way for a law student to gain an appreciation for the firm’s culture is through our summer clerk program. The summer clerk program does not have a pre-established class ranking or grade point average requirement, instead we focus on finding well qualified individuals who have a strong record of leadership, community involvement, and are motivated to tackle the challenges of the practice of law. Of course, solid legal writing and research skills are the foundation for anyone entering the practice of law. We strive to provide opportunities for our summer law students to attend hearings, depositions, mediations, closings, and trials. Of course, the opportunities are balanced with a number of interesting and challenging research and writing projects. You are not assigned to anyone attorney during your summer clerkship, because we find that the summer clerks get a broader exposure to the diverse practice areas of the firm. We accept resumes from all universities and interview on campus annually at Tulsa University and Oklahoma University to fill our summer positions.
